The Real Avid Smart‑Torq is a precision torque driver developed for correctly installing riflescope rings, bases and firearm components.

Its adjustable 10–70 inch-pound range can be selected in precise 1 inch-pound increments. Visual, tactile and audible feedback helps confirm the chosen setting and indicates when the specified torque has been reached.

A rubberised grip, free-spinning palm cap and Force Assist handle improve control when applying downward pressure. The kit includes 12 commonly used bits and a protective high-density foam storage case.
