Return Policy

FAULTY ITEMS

We take every possible step to ensure that your item is in 100% working order when you receive it. However, we understand that sometimes things can go wrong, so if your item is faulty our policy is as follows:

You may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for major fault.

If the fault is minor and can be repaired within a reasonable time, it is at the seller's discretion to either repair, replace or refund.

If the fault is major and cannot be repaired within a reasonable time, the buyer has the option to choose a refund, repair or replacement.

Definition of Major and Minor faults; A Major fault is a defect that cannot be repaired with a reasonable time. A minor fault is a defect which is easily repairable in a short period of time.

 

DEAD ON ARRIVAL

If your item is dead on arrival (D.O.A) you are entitled to a refund, repair or replacement at your discretion. Please email us at steve@wildoutdoors.com.au, and using “Dead on Arrival” within the subject field. Please don’t just return your item without contacting us first!

Once you have returned your item, we will email you the outcome of our inspection within 48-72 hours.

 

RETURNING ITEMS

Please request an “Authority to Return” by emailing us at steve@wildoutdoors.com.au. Please include your order reference number.

Please note that we cannot accept any items returned without a return authority.

We don't accept returns based on a change of mind. You are more than welcome to contact and do discuss if there are any options for return, these may include restocking fees of 20%.

It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure the safe delivery back to us. So please take care when packaging the item and include a tracking number.

 

POSTAGE COST OF RETURNED ITEMS

If your item is found to have manufacturers fault, we will reimburse you any reasonable cost in returning the item. If your item was delivered with FREE Post, the cost of returning the item is borne by the purchaser. If your item was picked up from our warehouse, it is at the buyer's expense to return the item, unless cost of returning, removing or transporting is significant as a result of the dimensions, size, or weight of the good being excessive.

Please note that if it is determined that your item has become defective as a result of misuse, Wild Outdoors Australia reserves the right to request any postage expense it may have incurred prior to releasing the goods back to you.

 

WARRANTY

Wild Outdoors offers a default 12 month warranty on all products, unless stated otherwise on specific listings. It is important to note that our goods are intended for private use. Like many other large retailers, products used for commercial purposes come with a 1 month warranty.

Please note that our warranty does not cover damage caused through normal wear and tear, neglect or misuse or if the item was used in manner outside of its intended purpose.We will be unable to honor any warranty claims in the event that it is found that the item has been tampered with or if the items maintenance schedule was not adhered to.

Our warranty does not apply to any bonus, or free items that may have been bundled with your item.
