PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Marlin 1894 Trapper .357 Magnum is a compact, American-made lever-action rifle designed for dependable operation, easy handling and excellent resistance to harsh field conditions. Its short 16.1-inch barrel, matte stainless steel construction and durable black laminate furniture make it well suited to Australian bush, farm and recreational shooting applications.
The cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel provides precise rifling, excellent durability and long service life. It is factory threaded 1/2"-28 and supplied with a thread protector, allowing compatible muzzle accessories to be fitted where permitted.
A receiver-mounted adjustable Skinner peep sight and Skinner blade front sight provide a fast, uncluttered sight picture. The oversized lever loop offers additional clearance for gloved hands, while the slim forend and sharp checkering provide a comfortable, secure grip.
The receiver, lever and trigger-guard plate are CNC machined from stainless steel forgings. Major stainless components have a subdued matte finish that reduces unwanted reflections and simplifies maintenance in wet or dusty environments.
Its tubular magazine holds eight rounds of .357 Magnum or nine rounds of .38 Special. This ammunition compatibility allows shooters to select full-power .357 Magnum loads or use suitable .38 Special factory ammunition for economical recreational shooting and reduced recoil.
Compact, weather-resistant and easy to carry, the Marlin 1894 Trapper is an excellent choice for shooters wanting a traditional lever-action rifle with modern manufacturing, stainless construction and versatile ammunition compatibility.
