FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What does 10x42 mean?

The binocular magnifies the viewed subject ten times, while each objective lens measures 42mm across. This provides a practical balance of detail, light gathering and portability.

Is it suitable for low-light hunting?

Yes. The 42mm objectives, BaK-4 prisms and fully multi-coated optics provide good performance around dawn and dusk. It is not a night-vision device and still requires available light.

Can it be used while wearing glasses?

Yes. The twist-up eyecups can be lowered for use with glasses. The binocular has approximately 15.4mm of eye relief, although individual comfort may vary.

How waterproof is it?

It has an IPX7 rating and is tested against immersion in one metre of water for up to 30 minutes. It is designed for rain and accidental immersion, not prolonged underwater use.

Can it be mounted on a tripod?

Yes. The binocular is tripod adaptable, although a suitable binocular tripod adaptor is normally purchased separately.
