Browning X-Bolt 2 Composite Stainless

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Composite Stainless, officially listed by Browning as the X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite Stainless, is a tough bolt-action hunting rifle built for shooters wanting stainless steel durability, modern adjustability and proven X-Bolt performance.

This rifle features a black Vari-Tech composite stock with adjustable length of pull, adjustable comb, interchangeable grip modules and contrasting grey overmoulded grip surfaces. This allows the rifle fit to be tuned for different shooters, optics and shooting positions.

The stainless steel receiver and stainless sporter contour barrel are finished in a non-reflective matte finish, making the rifle well suited to harsh hunting conditions. Browning also lists a spiral fluted bolt with corrosion-resistant silver-nitride finish, plus an ergonomic bolt handle and knob for smooth operation.

The X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite Stainless includes a stainless radial muzzle brake with thread protector, a detachable rotary magazine, 1-1/4" Inflex II recoil pad and Browning’s adjustable DLX trigger. Browning lists the DLX trigger as a three-lever design preset at 3.5 lb and adjustable down to 3.0 lb.

Like other X-Bolt 2 rifles, it uses a redesigned receiver with additional bolt guidance surface, a short 60° bolt lift, top-tang safety, bolt unlock button and Browning’s X-Lock scope mounting system, which uses four screws per base for secure optic mounting.
