FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Which shotguns is this kit designed for?

It is designed for compatible 12-gauge shotgun barrels. It should not be used in smaller-gauge barrels.

What is included with the kit?

It includes a reusable polypropylene cleaning rope with an integrated bronze brush and a 25ml bottle of Beretta CLP Gun Oil.

How is the cleaning rope used?

After confirming the shotgun is completely unloaded, feed the rope through the chamber and pull it through the barrel towards the muzzle.

What does CLP mean?

CLP stands for Clean, Lubricate and Protect. It helps remove residue, lubricate suitable components and protect against corrosion.

Is the cleaning rope reusable?

Yes. The rope can be reused and should be cleaned and allowed to dry when required.

Does it replace a complete cleaning kit?

It is ideal for quick and routine bore maintenance. More detailed cleaning may still require a cleaning rod, patches and chamber-cleaning tools.
